Cold, flu, fever at night, lumps under forehead, pulsing sensation. Cause of worry?

I just came down with a cold or flu , and had a fever all night, plus I seem to have fluid in my lungs. In the middle of the night I noticed lumps had formed under the skin on one side of my forehead , just above the temple, along the hairline. It may be a vein or artery because it does pulsate. The lumpy tract seems to be about two inches. Do I need to worry about this?
