Cluster Of White Bumps On Vaginal Opening After Using Hair Removal Cream. Yeast Infection? Can Try Monistat?

I used Veet Hair removal cream on my pubic hair and I think it has given me a yeast infection because there is a cluster of white bumps around the opening of my vagina. First there wasn't that many but after about a week it got worse and it almost looks like discharge but they're small, white headed bumps. There's no particular discomfort or weird odor and i'm not having any sort of discharge, maybe I'm a little dryer than usual. I can't really afford to go to the gynecologist right now, should I try Monistat? I'm a virgin so I know it's not a STD. It really has me nervous.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

This does sound like a yeast infection but then again could be various other things like a hypersensitivity reaction to the hair removal cream or even a pH imbalance and so on. I would advise against self-prescribing medication, but if really cant afford to visit a gynecologist right now, then please try monistat, although results may not be guaranteed.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
