Chronic Migraines, Small Lump On Forehead, Headache, Pain On Touching. Causes And Cure?

I have chronic migraines, yesterday a hard pea sized knot appeared on my forehead . If I touch it, it hurts through my head and also on the knot. The knot is beside a scare I got by hitting my head when I was probably 3 or 4 years old..I had 6 or 7 stitches, I am not exactly sure... but I have had a headache for 2 days now and the knot bothers me? Any answers to what the knot may be?

Hi there ~

The knot may be old unhealed scar tissue from having fallen and getting 6-7 stitches during your childhood. A nerve impingement in this area can cause you to have pain in the area that the nerve supplies. I hope this is not the case. However, I empathize with your condition. You might need surgical intervention if the pain is intolerable. I hope this helps. I am sorry to hear about your condition and please seek the help of a good neurosurgeon.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day !
