Child With Little Red Dots On Roof Of Mouth, Pain In Mouth While Eating. What Could This Be?

my two year old has been very irritable and complaining that his mouth hurts every time he eats or swallows for 3 days now and it is interfering with his appetite and sleep schedule. I took him to the doctor two days ago and no answer. I am now noticing little red dots on the roof of his mouth and he is telling me by pointing that is where it hurts

It can be due to ORAL thrush that is fungal ( candida) infection. Give him a cortimazole mouth wash with zincovit 1tsp OD. just be sure he has no allergy reaction which is rare with these medications.
