Child With Fever, Sore Foot. Tried Nurofen. Need Help

Hi,
My 20 month old woke this morning with a temp of 38.5. I gave him nurofen which bought it down & he slept for three hours. He doesn't have any other signs of Illness. When he woke from his sleep he was shaking/shivering and had a temp again of 38.4. He has had more nurofen & appeared better. Tonight he woke with a temp of 40.7 which after giving nurofen is starting to come down. It is now at 38. He has been complaining today of a sore foot, but can't point to an exact point. He is now back asleep but I'm very concerned.

In view of his age group I think you should consult your pediatrician and get him examined once.

Does he have any cough?
Is he crying while passing urine?
