Child With Diarrhea And Vomiting, Fever. Treatment?
I have a 4 year old who had vomiting and diarrhea on Thurs and Friday...developed a fever on Saturday...fever broke Sunday. It is now Tuesday and he still complains of a stomach upset off and on and just wants to lay down all day. He is only interested in eating bread or applesauce and is drinking throughout the day. His stool is pale and floats on the water but I haven't noticed it to be super foul or anything.

generally antibiotics are not recommended for loose motions
you should give him extra fluid and ORS ,
monitor his hydration status
if there is any blood or fever or child starts vomit every thing then immediately visit you doctor
change his diaper after every loose stool
how nuch urine he is passing
continuous follow up to your gastroentrologist is necessary for 2nd line of investigations
