Child With Bronchitis, Stomach Pain, Low Grade Fever And Diarrhea. Reason?

My daughter has been sick with bronchitis for a week. The past couple of days she has been complaining of stomach pain and does not want to walk around as that makes it worse. She has been running a low fever and has had diarreah . Took her to the Er but they said it was just a virus. Very concerned, seems as if the pain in her stomach is becoming more constant.

Please mention the age of your daughter.
Bronchitis if associated with severe cough can result in stomach ache due to excessive use of abdominal muscles during coughing.

Since she is also having diarrhoea along with fever, there can be infection of the gastrointestinal tract.
She can be given antacid like omeprazole along with antispasmodic like dicycloverine and pain killer like mefenemic acid which will also help in reducing fever. A probiotic preparation can also be added. Antibiotic and antiamoebic can help in controlling the infection.
Bronchodilator can be given for bronchitis. Any medicine can be given after getting her examined medically.
