Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi

Your kid has gut infection. Good to know that her loose stools have stopped.

Please continue with the Medications. She will get okay.

Give her Domstal and after half an hour, offer her something to eat.
Do not force her to eat.
Give small frequent feeds.

You may give her vegetable soups, curd, Rice Porridge, Dal rice, Curd rice, Flavoured ORS, soyamilk etc. Try to avoid fruit juices, formula milk, cow`s milk.
Add plenty of curd in her diet- this has plenty of probiotics naturally and will help in her gut infection.

Be sure she drinks well and she passes urine atleast 4 to 5 times in a day.

If she continues to be tired or continues to vomit- please do not hesitate to visit your Pediatrician again.

Hope my answer helps you.
Wish your daughter a speedy recovery.

General & Family Physician Dr. Pavan Kumar Gupta's  Response
Hello,
From your history it appears that your daughter is recovering.
Since the major problem associated with vomiting and diarrhoea is dehydration, you must give plenty of fluids to her.
Give plenty of water, coconut water and fruit juice to her.
There is no need to give any antibiotic to her.
You may give some pro biotic like DAROLAC syrup to her for 10 days,in consultation with your doctor.
Thanks
