Child Sleeping Excessively. No Temperature. Concerned

Hi. This morning my daughter woke up, but didnt want to get up so I settled her back to bed and she slept for a further 1.5hrs after a 12hr nights sleep. Then the second time she woke up she was very pale and moany I have settled her on the sofa, given her juice which she has drunk fine and some toast which she has eaten but she is just laying there with eyes almost shut not moving at all.... My daughter is usually up by 6:30am and in to absolutely everything and full of life from the second she wakes until she goes to bed. This is most unlike her but she has no temperature or visible symptoms that I can see..... What do you think I should do???

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

If she continues to be drowsy and inactive you should consult your doctor for help.

Are the peripheries warm or cold?
Is she behaving normally when you try and wake her up or there is some difficulty in waking her up?
How is she breathing?

Continue to ask further queries.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
