Hi,
It is against medical advice not to give breast feeding .
prescribing formula milk is prohibited by law.all the complains mentioned about your baby is due to bottle feeding .even in private organisations maternity leave available.please consult paeditrician and get your baby checked up .be trained for proper feeding of baby .May be your baby is being underfed and proper burping is not done in between and after each feed .
breast feeding should be continued for at least six months if not one year .breast fed baby does not require plain water for drinking
breast milk is whole feed for infants and help in developing normal health and immunity .
in cases where other nursing mother is in family can also breast fed the baby who for some unavoidable reasons is not getting breastfeed .formula feeding needs meticulous care of sterility of bottles and accessories in each feed and the milk to be made as per instruction .
hope your baby remain healthy. NOT GIVING BREAST FEED IN LACTATING BREAST INVITES SOME TIMES COMPLICATIONS LIKE ENGORGEMENT OF BREAST AND INFECTION .
IN UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES PLEASE DISCUSS WITH PAEDIATRICIAN AND FOLLOW ADVICE
