Child Is Lethargic. What Could Be The Problem?

My two yr old grandson is acting lathargic he just had mouth hand foot symtoms thebdr said we caught it early .He is a very active child but today he just seems not to be himself.What could be the problem his mom said he was also acting like this yesterday.he didnt even want to swim and he loves the water, i dont think its dehydration because he drinks lots of water.

hand mouth foot syndrome is viral disorder . this will take few day to go. some time this is associated with letharginess.
give your child to plenty of water
acetaminophen for fever
do not give acidic or spicey food
prevent your other family member from spread of infection


if your child is lethargic get consult to near by pediatrician to rule out aseptic meningits
