Child Is Coughing, Vomiting, Fever. Had Double Ear Infection

My 9 month old daughter has been coughing for weeks. Had a double ear infection that was treated with amoxycillin and got better for about 5 days. She was sick again and went to the dr and found out she had strep and ear infections are back. Now she is coughing very hard and often vomits everything up at the end of each spell. If there has been a fever , it has been mild. We don t know where to get answers but she is too little for this and we are debating going to another doctor or for outpatient services.

Pediatrician 's  Response
good morning, at this situation i would like to get a chest x ray for the child to rule out any lower respiratory tract infections, a complete blood count is also helpful. watch for signs of pneumonia- hurreid breathing, chest retractions, difficulty in breathing, poor feeding, uncontrollable cough etc which conditions require doctors help. give her warm water sponge baths when ever she has a fever to prevent febrile seizures. a secondary opinion from an ENT specialist will be helpful as the ear infection has recurred. thank you.
I find this answer helpful
