Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query,
The episode was due to colic as caused by abdominal pain in most infants during this period. And this will be associated with stiffening of tummy and passage of excessive gas.
This can be managed my gently massaging the tummy, holding the child tummy against mother shoulder, and by giving anticolic and antiflatulent drops.
Hope I have answered your query.

Hi
Thanks for your query.
Infantile colic in a commonly seen in babies ,it usually starts by 3 to 4 weeks of age and persist till 3 to 4 months.
Relax,there is nothing to worry.
Keep baby in prone position but not unattended.
Do burping for 10 to 15 minutes after feeds.
Do gentle massage on tummy.
Keep warm towel over abdomen.(be careful)
Drops like neopeptin can be used after consultation with your doctor/
Wishing your baby good health.
God bless.
