Child Hit Head While Playing, Has Bump. Should I Let Him Sleep?

My boys were play fighting on the bed and the 4yr old hit his head extrememly hard on the side and top of head. He said it was not sore. I took him to ER and they said he is ok but should watch for concussion . This happed at about 10:35 this morning. He has a big bump/ swelling though. Should I be concerned and should I let him sleep

Hi.
Thanks for choosing HCM.
You will need to observe for vomiting, loss / altered consciousness, slowing pulse etc & report to the doctor if anything is amiss.
E R would advise on need for imaging studies like MRI etc for tackling 'Head Injury' in your child if at all.
I find this answer helpful
