Child Having Runny, Blocked Nose. Not Eating Much Due To Congestion. Due To Teething?

Hi my daughter is 15 months and has a running blocked nose since last wk, no other symptoms, has been on and off her food but drinking fluids as well as being in generally good form. However, today she has not eaten much due to d congestion. I am using karvol, saline and snuffles vapor rub on her chest . How long can I put this down to teething before I should take her to my doctor? Many thanks Nadine

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi Mom,

Teething does not cause runny & blocked nose.

Your daughter most probably has common cold & you can wait for a day or two before consulting doctor as long as she is not running fever, not throwing up or any other worrying symptom.
