Child having low sodium levels. Cause?

Hi I m from the Philippines I just want to know what causes a low sodium in a 4 year old child? He always complains about a pain in both legs so I requested his doctor to have a lab.procedure and the result is low sodium and chloride ...what interventions should I apply to my son? thank you for any information you will give me...

Low sodium can mean anything. You need to tell how low the sodium is. Intervention will depend based on that. There are lot of causes of low sodium. Need to see if its significant or not. Take care.
