Child Having Cough With Neck Soreness And Fever. Are They Symptoms Of Meningitis?
my son 7 has had a cough with little or no fever for a few days. He complained of neck soreness just now. He has a low grade fever 99.6. He looks pretty tired and run down. He just fell asleep at the table. I worry about meningitis. What do you think?

Welcome to the HCM
Child has developed some Respiratory Tract infection. May be viral. Does not seems to be meningitis
He requires some antihistamine, decongestant ,antipyretics medicine.
Hope he will recover with these medicines.
If fever do not respond in day or two ,or the neck stiffness increases , please consult your paed for proper evaluation.
