Child Having Chronic Cough, Throat Clearing Due To Sinus Infection. Removed Adenoids Recently. Inflammed Voicebox Due To Cough?

Question regarding a child - 3 years old - chronic cough and throat clearing for almost a year - due to a chronic sinus infection . ENT put in tubes and removed adenoids this past week. He also looked at her voicebox - said it was inflamed. He wants to treat her with prevacid because he said it could be caused from reflux. COULD the inflammation be a result of the throat clearing and cough? I just hate to put her on the meds if the surgery could clear up the other issue.

as the doctor said, it could be due to reflux or due to some viral infection. to control reflux- some tips- give more solid foods. use 2 pillows while sleeping. dont let him go to bed immediately after feeding. take one full course of anti reflux medications according to drs advise.
