Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query,
Your child seems having acute gastritis due to a virus.
You can give one antiemetic like ondansetron or domperidone in prescribed dose to stop vomitings.
Then you staert giving sips of oral rehydration solutions like sips of Pedialyte (ORS), coconut water, lemon wate continuously to replaces the losses.
Monitor her hydration status by her urine output, activity, skin turgor.
Consult your Pediatrician for the assessment of your child and for specific treatment.
Hope I have answered your query.

Pediatrician Dr. Sudha Shree Venkataraman's  Response
Hi

First for her vomiting, she needs medications like Domperidone/ Ondensetron in a right dose according to her weight. After about half an hour of this, you may try to give her sips of fluids.
If she does not throw up further, its fine.
Else you have to take her to ER.

If she is in the process of getting a stomach bug, she is likely to get loose stools too.

For her fever, after her vomiting stops, you may give her Acetaminophen every 6 hours in the right dosage.

Be sure she drinks well and passes urine atleast 4 to 5 times in a day.
If she is tired/ her activity is less/ mouth is dry/ she passes less urine/ continues to vomit/ she develops high grade fever please do not hesitate to visit your Doctor.

Hope my answer helps you.
Wish your daughter a speedy recovery.
