Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.

There could be various causes for such problems.
It could be because of infection, allergy, autoimmune problems etc.
A physical examination followed by investigations depending on the examination findings are important to identify the cause.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.

Pediatrician Dr. Rajiv K Khandelwal's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

Your grandson is having some infection which is giving rise to both fever, pain in throat, swelling on the soles. It is very difficult to give a specific cause on day 1 and hence we need to wait and watch. You should give him acetaminophen/paracetamol to reduce the fever and pain.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your grandson an early recovery.

Regards,
