Pediatrician 's  Response
Dear friend
From the history,One of the possibilities is sinusitis which may follow an acute cold. I suggest you to have your child examined by an ENT specialist who may order an x-ray of para nasal sinuses and treat the child by steam inhalations, nasal decongestants and appropriate antibiotics.
The other possibility , I can think of is Migraine which may follow an upper respiratory viral infection in about 30 % of patients. You may be asked to get a CT Scan of your child' s brain done as a baseline work up to exclude any other cause of headche if it persists beyond two weeks. So you should consult a paediatrician who may evaluate the child's problem and manage accordingly. Also get his eye and vision tested by an ophthalmologist.
Good luck.

Hi
Thank you for your query
Your son seems to have an inflammation of his sinuses (sinusitis). It may be allergic or especially worsening during winters. That is why a nasal decongesant helps. Steam is good in decreasing this kind of pain. He will definitely benefit from it. Some oral decongesants and anti allergic drugs can be tried. It can be evaluated with a X-ray but more definitively with a CT scan. Consult a ENT specialist (otorhinolaryngologist) for the same and he /she should be able to guide you well.
God bless You

Hi,
If it came after the cold it can be sinusitis.
use nasal drops like pediatric otrivin, steam inhalation and pain relievers like paracetamol or ibuprofen ( if severe pain).
Allergy can also sinusitis.
If the head ache persists he will need some tests to find out the cause.Good luck
