Hi Dear
Welcome to the board of Health care magic.
Candid lotion prescribed to you is the right drug. Because oral thrush will respond to anti fungal only.
Same lotion to be applied on the nipple of the mother also before and after feeds. Bitterness of the lotion can be masked by applying some local anesthetic gel like mucopain gel over tongue 10 minutes before the application of candid lotion.
Hope your query is answered
Thanks
