Child has fever, taken Crocin. Viral fever?

my 7month old son is having fever from early morning goes to 100dgre F.goes down to 98.2dgreF in 2 hrs wth crocin then again starts rising wthin 4hrs to reach 100dre F.gave hm crocin like ths 2 times.again fever is rising.he does nt have any cough , cold or teethng signs little it viral fever?he is othrwise ok.nt extremely active bt takng hs feed n fussy sumtims.wtshld i do?

Thank you for your query.
You are absolutely correct in coming to this conclusion.
These are the signs of a viral illness where the child remains perfectly normal when he is afebrile.
Give him a lot of fluids and normal diet as before.
Continue with paracetamol and sponging if necessary.

your child is having fever which is viral in nature,and will be fine in couple of days,
I advise you to give paracetamol every 6 hourly if fever is above 100F,give him plenty of fluids.give coconut water,rice water.
