Child Has Fever, Pain In Limbs, Cough, Vomiting. Given Paracetamol And Ibuprofen
Hello My 3 yr old has on nd off high fever since yestday 5pm She has flu like symptoms nd bad cough She complains ov hand feet hurting Nd wen sleeping complains ov wat i think is pins nd needles in her hands Shes vomited once yestday evening wen i fed 2-3 morsels of food so i wud say appetite loss I am guving her paractomal syrup 4 doses in 24 hrs nd gona get iburofen to help with fever Any additional advice u can giv me since she has a vaccination cumin up 02 jan 13 Thanx

additional advice would be to give him warm water sponge baths every 4 to 5 hrs once to reduce the fvere instantly so as to prevent febrile seizures, maintain his hydration and nutrition , if the fever is not subsiding even after 5 days , then he would require antibiotics and will be requiring laboratory investigations for blood and urine.

may be ur child having viral fever,add some antibiotics with ibu-para syrup.If he feels nausea give him ondansetron mouth dissolving half tablet before remaining medicine and feed.
