Child Has Fever, Indent On Back Of Head. What Is This?

Hello... My 71/2 month old baby has been sick for 24 hours with a fever but it is broken now. He's been breastfeeding although stuffy and downing a few bottles of formula. He's been peeing and popping as well. Tonight as I breastfed , I noticed an indent in the back of his head. His head is normally round and smooth and now it has a petrusion there or it goes in... What could this be?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi dear
welcome to the HCM
This swelling in the posterior side of head could be some traumatic Hematoma (means collection of blood or other fluid below the skin)
Usuall posibility of developing this hematomea is fall, Many times children are banged unknowingly. 7 month old child start rolling and moving itself and many these minor accident do happen.
Better to consult the peadiatrician for fever and indentation to decide the mode of treatment.
Hope the query is answered.
Thank
