Child Has Fever, Cold, Cough, Vomiting. Taken Bactoclav. Advice?
Sir My daughter of 5 yrs old was having mild fever , cold & cough from 2 days. yesterday night shi has vomitted.In morning i giver her cocunut water&she vomited again. The i taken tothe doctor. He has prescribed Bactoclav dry syrup, Kofkind cough syru & ibugesic Plus. She has taken little rice in lunch & kaken one dose of all medicine prscribed. Approx oe hour later she has vomited again with conted of rice. later she had water...again vomited.in evening taken to doctor again & he has prescribed Emeset Syrup. she has taken one dose 6.5 ml the had little rice water not vomited yet. bu she is having fever & feel very exhausted .. kindly advise

give dose of syp emeset 30 min before feeding anything. give ORS solution 15 mins after vomiting. syp paracetamol for fever of >100 F. you may use syp Azithromycin in place of Bactoclav.If vomiting persists even after these measures , child has to be given IV medicines after admission in hospital.
