Child has fever, cold and throat infection. Prescribed Monocef. Is medication correct?

my daughter age is 4 years. she is suffering from cold , throat infection 7 fever more than 101 F. since last 3 days Doctor prescribed to take Monocef - o CV DT ( Cefpodoxime proxetil, Potassium clavulanate) tablet disperse in water 2times a day along with a cough syrup 7 crocine SOS. yesterday 24 hrs left but fever not reducing still it is more than 100F.Pl tell me the medicine she s taken is correct or not

As 2 antibiotics are taking,your child will get improvement now within a day or 2 as antibiotic takes some time to work.
Give plenty of water and give light diet.
