Child Has Diarrhea, Vomiting. Should I Take Him To ER?

hi I have a 22 month son. we all got the stomah flu a week ago, but for me and my husband it went away in 24 hours but my son had it the same. but he has really bad dirriea and he vomits once anight now. he is active, happy and eats fine now. but has had dirriea for a week now. and still not better. my doctor is closed for the hoildays and wont open intell the 26th . should I take him to the er?

Hi
if the child is active,no vomiting,passing urine well,no fever-- you can wait for a day or two no problems!
Give enough fluids like pedialyte and plain water till then and watch the child.
Dehydration should be avoided.
