Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi

In type I diabetes- there is absolute deficiency of insulin. Only treatment is supplementation of insulin.

Else kids can go into life threatening complications like Diabetic Keto Acidosis.
Also her growth will be affected due to other problems.

So I would also suggest that she is put on regular and life long insulin as her doctors have already suggested.

As Allopathic Practitioners- we do not prescribe and practice Alternate Medicine.
Hope my answer helps you.
Best wishes.

Pediatrician Dr. E Venkata Ramana's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic,
The available option for children with Diabetes Mellitus is only insulin injection and there are no tablets or syrup forms available for children.
Insulin injections are easy to administer, easy to carry and very less pain as they are given subcutaneously and in modern days the pen type intruments are available for easy administration of the calculated of dose of insulin.
Tell her to consult Pediatrician for proper education on the diabetes and for advise on medication and follow up.
It is difficult to comment on the effectiveness of alternate medicine for diabets as there are no scientific data about its effectiveness and i am unaware of it.
Hope I have answered your query.
