Child Has Cough. Medicine Not Helping. Advice?
Hi, my 4 and a half months old son is suffering from bad cough for over 2 weeks now, first doctor prescribed Althrocin drops and salbib plus for 5days. It did not help when consulted another doctor he prescribed Augmentin Duo, Bricanyl and Nutrolin B. Its been 3days since the last medicine and still there is no much imporovement. Pls advice

Please do an X ray of the chest and some blood tests.

Since your baby already has two courses of antibiotics without much improvement,i suggest you to get him re evaluated by pediatrician as he may need some tests like CBC,X ray chest,ESR.
In the meantime continue with medication.
Give him warm fluids as it will be soothing .
Give steam inhalation .
