Child Has Bruises On Inner Knee With White Center And Small Tender Bump. Any Suggestions?
My daughter has a bruise on her inner knee a little larger than a quarter. The center of it is white with a small bump in the center, that is also very tender. She doesn t know what she did to get it. Any thoughts, I am not sure if it is more serious than a normal bruise because of the white center with bump underneath it. Thank you for any advice.

Trauma is the most common cause of bruise.
If there is no history of trauma the wait and observe it.
Vitamin K deficiency and bleeding disorders are also attributed to it.
Test her bleeding and clotting time for any abnormalities.
Consult your doctor.
