Child has brown spots on ankle, leg, elbow. Pain in legs. Is skin getting darker?
hi my 2 year old has brown spots around his ankels,legs and elbows he is light skind my skin colour is light brown and his father is white but the spots on my sun are not ichey or dry they just appered one day also he does have pain in his legs the drs think they are growing pains i looked up Vitiligo but my toddeler was not dark to begin with so could he be getting darker? is that possible? what should i do?

I appreciate your concern. It is very difficult to give an opinion without having a look at the spots, however, I shall try to answer your queries. As you mention that you are light brown and his father light coloured the spots may be the changing colour of the skin which does happen. It cannot be vitiligo as vitiligo is depigmentation of the skin.
