Hi and welcome to HCM.
First, you should treat uroinfection by antibiotics, especially if caused by staph.aureus. Postive blood culture isnt good sign. It should be terated by i.v. drugs. Considering repeated fever you should look for some other infection in the body. ALso there can be congenital urogenital anomaly which cause repeated infections and you should do ultrasounds and kidney tests to evaluate this. Wish you good health.
Hi,
Your child at present has a urinary tract infection which will require antibiotics. To prevent recurrence of UTI give her plenty of oral fluids, maintain hygiene and correction of constipation if present.
If she has recurrence of infection more than 6-8 times annually then she will need thorough examination and investigations .
Children less than 5yrs have poor immunity and hence they recurrently get affected with community acquired infection. To build up her immunity you can give her good nutritious and balanced diet .
Bye
Take care
