Child Had Tubes Placed In Both Ears, They Have Fallen Out. Has Ear Ache, White Spot Seen, Ear Drum Intact. Scar Tissue?

My daughter had tubes placed in both ears, at the age of 2 y/o, they have fallen out years ago. Today school nurse notified my that my daughter is congested, and has complaint of ear ache, Nurse assessed ears with otoscope saw a white spot in both ears, ear drum is intact and there in no sign of inflamation. could this be scar tissue, should I consult her MD for follow up?

yes this could be a tympanosclerotic patch on tympanic membrane its nothing but a scar tissue. just consult to your ENT and assess hearing status of your child if it is normal hearing then its Ok, thanks
