Child Had Surgery For Skull Fracture. Is Travelling Safe?

Hi
My 5 year old son suffered a bang to the head resulting in a depressed skull fracture for which he required surgery. He also suffered a small brain bleed. He has been discharged from hospital now but no playground activity for 2 months and contact sports for 6 months. Was thinking of going on a little family holiday but worried about the air pressure and the effects it may have. thankyou

Pediatrician, Surgery 's  Response
Hello
Thank you for placing your query with Health Care Magic
Travelling can safely be done after a surgery for depressed skull fracture. Only activities where there is a risk of repeat trauma to that spot is to be avoided. Travelling is fine.
Hope that helps
God bless you
