Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. The symptoms are suggestive of enteric fever. he needs to be tested TC, DC, ESR, AEC, WIDAL TEST etc along with other routine tests for confermation. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
The loss of memory and the shrinking of the face might be due to acute dehydration, probably he needs infusion of fluids immediately, and suitable antibiotics, anti spasmodics, and anti pyretics under the supervision of a doctor is necessory.
Besides i advise some diet recomendations as give him biscuits of less oil content, ors products, curd and butter milk, porridge, rice with boiled vegetables so that he can digest and assimilate the foods. Wishing for a quick recovery and thanks for calling.
