Child Got Cut On Forehead, Cried A Lot, Pain, Not Sure If It Has Penetrated Skull, Behaving Normally. Serious?

My 5 year old daughter ran into our intercom at home. She has a cut / gash on her forehead . We are not sure if it has penetrated her skull . she is behaving normally. she cried a lot shortly after it happened and was obviously in a lot of pain. she is now ok and just complains that she is in pain every now and then. She has no headache, no throwing up. She ate her dinner well and had a drink. How serious is this and what should we do?

Welcome to HCM.
Don't worry, injury is not that much deep,Obviously she is crying due to pain on that area.
Just clean wound with antiseptic liquid and apply providone/iodine ointment or fusidic acid cream.
You can give her paracitmol/ibuprofen syrup to subside pain, inflammation and start antibiotic syrup to prevent infection and better healing.
Get examined by family physician for proper cleaning/dressing and medication.
