Pediatrician 's  Response
Some children do develop inflammation of joints after infection in other part of the body-it may be respiratory tract infection or urinary tract infection. This is called reactive arthritis. This usually subsides with in a few days. Please continue the treatment as advised by your doctor and go for review as advised. If there is no improvement further tests may be needed. If you have family history of rheumatoid arthritis please inform your doctor.
