Child Coughing And Breathing With A Whooping Sound And Sneezing A Lot. Is He Having Whopping Cough?
hi, my son coughs with the whooping sound when he takes a breath in but i'm wondering if it could really be whopping cough since he doesnt cough outside of crying. He also sneezes alot_ could they be connected? We live in Jamaica so its pretty hot here.

Its most likely to be uncomplicated upper respiratory tract infection. The coughing in whooping cough is very severe and children are cyanosed and there is presence of post coughing vomiting which is very characteristic diagnostic criteria for whooping cough.
