hi,

Based on the information if the prescription is -0.75 and -1.00 diopter, in her left and right eye, it means she will need to wear glasses.

The lubrex ds and IF2 is to treat the dryness in the eye which is causing her extra tearing. (Yes it sound odd still the its the fact, the nerves fees its dry as sends a signal to brain which in turn starts making tear)

Thanks, hope it helps.

Pediatrician Dr. Y V Siva Sankara Murty's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.

Yes glasses are required for constant use. May be your ophthalmologist called for a review to confirm that initial diagnosis and verify once again.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
