Child bitten by dog, no redness, sore to touch, difficulty breathing, vomiting. Have asthma
My son got bit in his cheeck by a neighbors dog i know the dogs up to date on all shots and my son has had a tetnus. Hes 14 refusing to go to doc yesturday when it happened! Today its not red and alil sore too touch. But now hes having breathing problems (he has asthma ) and he just vomited! Is this a coincidence mayb hes comin down with a cold or something or could it be from the dog bite?

This breathing problem is due to aggravated underlying bronchospasm due to asthma and not due to dog bite and better you consult your Pediatrician for the examination of dog bite wound and the assessment of the immunization status and to assess the requirement of passive or active immunization and for the specific management of breathing problem.

as you know rabies is a fatal disease,so the most important thing is get your child vaccinated with anti rabies vaccine as per schedule which is day 0,3,7,14,28.you have also mentioned that your child is having asthma,i advise you to take him to doctor for proper management.

Hi hondazoom ! Are you sure about the medication about the dog neighbour told you! Apply betadine cream on wound , if fever give paracetamol tab, if pain diclofenac tab, and antibiotic like ciprofloxacin and do consult about anti rabies exposure injection with doctor take care. Bye.
