Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

I should commend you for taking the appropriate steps in your son's case. You can wait and watch. In case his respiratory rate increases or he develops a cough or he becomes febrile then you should consult your doctor and get a x-ray chest done to rule out pulmonary complications. However by the description provided by you it appears that your son is well settled and would not be requiring any further medical attention.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your son an early recovery.

Regards,
