Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Continue the medication as advised by your Pediatrician for his tongue injury.

Refusal of feeds is due to the pain that is present.

Before giving food you can apply an oral local anesthetic gel like benzocaine to increase his oral intake.

Clean his mouth gently with oral glycerine twice daily and you can apply an local gel like metrogyl DG gel with the doctor advise.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
