Child. Continued Cold. No Help From Sinarest AF, Ambrodil-s. Loose Motions And Mild Fever After Taking Clamp Kid Forte, Montair Followed By Stomach Pain, Vomiting. Advice
Hello Doctor,
Good Morning.
My daughter is 2 years 9 Months old. From past 15 days she had cold. so she was adviced over phone by Doctor to take Sinarest AF for initial few days, later Ambrodil-S. Inspite of taking this medicine there was no improvement. Later, she was taken to Doctor. He prescribed following medicines:
1. Clamp-Kid Forte. 2.5ml - 0 - 2.5ml
2. Montair LC Kid. 0- 0 - 5ml
3. Ambrodil-S. 5ml - 5ml - 5ml
She was administered with above medicines with above dosage.
Also, he indicated that accumulated flum will go off in form of loose motion. As he pointed out she had loose motion day before yesterday.
Yesterday evening, she had body temperature of 99.9 F. Then she was administered with Calpol syrup 250mg.
Also, yesterday midinght she had stomach ache and vomiting for two times..
Please advice treatment for her.

Hi,

Clamp kid contains Ampicillin and Cloxacillin. usually ampicillin causes loose motions.
Give cyclopam syrup 2.5 ml 3 times daily to control stomach ache and give Domstal syrup 2.5 ml 2-3 times daily to control vomiting.
Continue other medicines as advised by your doctor.
