Chest Pain. Douted Angina. On Tecta For Acid Reflux. Plaque Build Up In Arteries?

Hi doctor I have a question about my heart health I was experiencing chest pain in April 27th of this year. I checked in the er they did some blood work and took ECG blood pressure and pulse readings and they said I had a bout of angina. I was given low dose aspirin. I then went to my walk in doctor he did a stress echo everything came back normal. My doctor started me on tecta and said it was acid reflux and not heart related I started eating healthy and was exercising for the past 5 months. So my chest pain subsided for about a month and a half However I ate a Large portion of fried food on Sunday of this week
And the following morning I had the same chest pain come back. Could it be a possibility that my arteries have plaque buildup? Should I opt for a ct scan or other artery mapping diagnostic test scan? I'm 35 male I don't smoke and neither of my parents have a history of cardiac problems. However I did eat a lot of junk food during previous years any advice or info would greatly help.

Sincerely Billy

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Treadmill exercise ECG – may be with thallium isotope – will be necessary to exclude ischemia (reduced blood flow / Coronary Artery Disease)
An endoscopy can evaluate oesophagus, hiatus hernia, gastritis and so on...
Laboratory tests for risk factors (eg. Lipids) are also in need
The treating doctor alone can suggest further based on his assessment of the situation.

Take care
Wishing all well
God bless
Good luck
