Chest Injury, Raised Bump Under Skin. Cause Of Concern?

Hello I recently bumped into a door against my chest and felt a pain. When slightly sliding your hand over the skin on the painful area It is raised, but not to the naked eye. When pressing on the area I can feel a dime sized lump. I am only 21 years old. I am concerned with what this could be. I had never noticed it up until this point. PLEASE get back to me ASAP!!

Because of the injury sustained by you on your rib cage, you have developed inflammatory reaction over there. Because of the inflammation, there is oozing out of fluids, cells and debris material which is causing the swelling or bump as being felt by you. There is no cause for concern as this will subside in few days time.
