Chest Hurts After I Smoke

Hi, Im 24 y/o and i smoke 7 times a day for 6 years. 2 weeks ago i started feeling chest pain and cant breath well. i also had palpitations a few times. I had chest xray, 2-d echo, ecg and stress test and the results were all negative. according to my doc everything is normal but he also asked me to to a pulmunary function test, no result yet as of this time. I tried to smoke again like 3 times a day, there are times that i feel normal although some times after i smoke my right chest/lung feels heavy and a bit painful. Please advise. Thanks!

you are aheavy smoker so first stop that although all your reports are normal the pain &breathlessness is due to that only are you heavy wt &having family history of hypertension then you are having chances of that .you can take swaskuthar ras 2tab 3time for 1mth.

Follow-up question::: So this is nothing serious, is that correct? My height is proportioned to my body weight and we dont have any history of hypertension. Im still wondering why it hurts if my tests results showed that im normal? Thanks again. -me again

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum
The tests that you have done suggest that your heart is working well (for now). Wait for pulmonary function tests. Also , since smoking is causing discomfort, isnt it obvious that your body is not tolerating it. Quit smoking, try stress reduction and start exercise/sports for healthy lungs .
Takecare.

Dear
when all your tests are normal it means there is nothing much serious but this is not a ticke to start smoking again as smoking is a slow poison for lungs and can cause problem any time. As far as pain is concerned this can be due to exposure to cold or even when the cause lies in abdomen say hyperacidity or distension etc pain can be referred in chest.Have hot water many a times sipping of boiled water gives good relief to chest pain.
