Chest Hurting After Falling Off A Ladder. X-ray Showed No Broken Bones. No Help With Medicines. See The Doctor?

I fell of ladder and landed on my back hitting a chair, my head was push forward causing the breath to be knocked out of me. When I got up I could feel my chest hurting. I went to doctor, they did x-rays and said there were no broken bones in the breastbone. They did not do x- ray to the back. They said it was probably a bruised or torn muscle around the cartilage of the ribs. They gave me naproxyn and balcofen. This happened 3 weeks ago and still hurting and burning in chest. Back area is still sore, also. I am hurting bad. Can not sleep at night and function okay in the day, that is if I do not pick up anything or carry my purse. I am running out of medicine. Should I wait to see if I get better or go back to doctor.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
If your x-ray of chest being taken then it will shows the back side bony structure too, this pain may be due to soft tissue inflammation and may take little long time to come around, till then try "Chlorzoxazone with Acetaminophen this will give good result and nothing to worry about this have nice day.
