Chest And Throat Have Weird Feeling. Why Am I In Pain?

For the past hour I ve been having a weird feeling in my chest and throat , it s not painful, just uncomfortable. It almost feels like hunger pains, just in the wrong area of my body. It kept getting worse until I felt like I was going to throw up. I didn t throw up, I just had a sudden wave of excess saliva and then it was gone and I feel fine. What does any of this mean?

Hi, Alyssa,
Thanks for query.
It seems that you might have some gastric upset or gastritis.
But from your symptoms it might be due to some cardiac problem as well.
So to be on safe side go for EKG and rule out any cardiac problem.
Ok and bye.
