Chances Of Pregnancy After Birth Control Shot

I had my baby may 13,2014 and before I left the hospital I got my birth control shot but I had sex two weeks after with my childs father unprotected and everysince then I have had sex about 5times . now my hands feel weak and I eat more I had a bad headache lastnight and I felt very sick but im still bleeding really light and the blood and pinkish . I sleep more and im scared I might be pregnant my stomach hurt sometimes also . what do you think is wrong with me ????????????? YYYY@YYYY

Hi, Thanks for using HCM..
I understand your concern.. Birth control shots are depoprovera injections which has efficacy for 12weeks. Next shot should be taken in a week's time. Failure rate include 1 in 100 women if used as directed otherwise 6 per 100 women years if not used correctly. Get a preg test with early morning urine sample if you have any doubt.. if neg, get an Hb tested to see for anemia and BP check. Are u hypertensive? Since your bleeding is minimal nothing to do with it, it will usually subside in 2 months time. If Bp is normal get some analgesic tablet and take good rest.. Eat healthy and drink a lot of water. This will help to overcome your problems. In case of anemia, take iron rich food and iron supplements. Hope i have answered your queries. Good day.
